2 Dave: “Why was your phone off? You’re not still in bed are you?”

Alex: “No! I’m on the train. We just went through the ‘Dead Zone’.”
4 Dave: “Ah yes, the ‘Dead Zone’; that mysterious spot between Greywood and Shrugton with no mobile phone signal.”
5 Alex: “Was there a particular reason you phoned?”

Apologies for the delay everyone – Here at last is Page 31, where Dave finally gets to speak with Alex, who is commuting in to school on the train (Shrugton, incidentally, where Alex lives, is a small village South East of Greywood).
